The eight annual World Baijiu Day is slated for this summer. Hard to believe that what began as a $10 website domain purchase in 2015 has led to celebrations in over 60 cities planet-wide, made possible because like-minded people the world over make it happen.
As usual, last year’s parnters are being contacted to see if they plan to join again — so far, so good — and there is already talk about baijiu-inspired ideas, from canned cocktails to beer recipes to creative shots.
Expect lots of details on that in the coming weeks and months. You can also keep up on the action via our Facebook page and Instagram account. Or get in touch via spirit (at) worldbaijiuday.com.
Meanwhile, here’s a flashback collage of the 2021 World Baijiu Day gatherings that saw aficionados active from Buenos Aires to Beijing, Stockholm to Shenzhen, Marseilles to Christchurch, and more.
Founded in 2015, World Baijiu Day is held each August 9, with events in over 60 cities so far. Follow WBD on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. And get in touch via spirit (at) worldbaijiuday.com.
