I interviewed bartender Orson Salicetti here in March about the then-upcoming launch of baijiu bar Lumos in New York. He and partner Qifan Li officially opened the place last night. They also recently hosted an event called The Power of Baijiu there.
Drink options include Sesame Colada, with baijiu, mangosteen, sesame pasta, pineapple and agave, and Red River, with baijiu, triple sec, watermelon, rosemary, peppercorn, lime and agave.
