World Baijiu Day 2026

Join the Global Ganbei!

World Baijiu Day celebrates a spirit that is ubiquitous in China but little-known elsewhere on our planet. Founded in 2015, it is held on August 9, with some getting into the spirit a few days earlier or later.

This page lists venues by city that serve baijiu, baijiu cocktails, baijiu-inspired food and more. Active World Baijiu Day supporters are noted with asterisks. Also see the WBD Instagram for frequent updates.

Wherever you enjoy the 12th annual World Baijiu Day, I raise my glass to you! And if you do celebrate, please tag posts, photos or videos with #worldbaijiuday.

Cheers, Jim Boyce

Note: If you know more places serving baijiu, please let me know at spirit (at) worldbaijiuday.com. Also, it’s best to double-check deals and opening hours–and to RSVP–at venues before you go.
