By Jim Boyce | World Baijiu Day is fast approaching and I will be posting a good deal more in the coming weeks. I’ve been talking to people from Liverpool to Los Angeles, from Melbourne to Milan, and there will be lots happening on August 9.
Here in Beijing, we received some New Zealand baijiu Taizi courtesy of Ben Lu and Sam Lu in Christchurch. We’ll use it for our global baijiu flight at Q Bar on August 9. I’ve also confirmed Capital Spirits, Pop-Up Beijing and Schoolhouse at Mutianyu will be getting into the spirit in our fair city.
Meanwhile, Taizi will team up with Pot Sticker Dumpling Bar in Christchurch for some World Baijiu Day fun.
