Cambridge | Bubbly fun with Sumiao’s Beijing Berry Fizz

Sumiao Hunan Kitchen in Cambridge, just outside of Boston, featured Sizzling Baijiu Shrimp for World Baijiu Day last year. This year? Fruit power!

The cocktail Beijing Berry Fizz ($10) blends a trio of tasty ingredients: Jiannanchun baijiu, strawberries and Champagne.

“It’s very refreshing with a little tartness from the strawberry,” writes Rosa Cheng. “It’s great for hot summer days.”

Those who want a more comprehensive experience can join “Baijiu Night’ for USD45. A “baijiiu connoisseur” will explain this spirit and guests can try several different renown brands, not to mention cocktails, with some tasty Chinese cuisine. Full details here.
